4-24 - Channel LiFePO4 BMS Board-v2.6.
Variable-length PCB for a LiFePO4-based Battery Management System (BMS), that can be used with from 4 to 24-channels. Design includes a low-voltage cutoff function that can be used to activate the brake function on most controllers, whenever a cell/cell block drops below 2.1V. For charging, a high-power shunt-based circuit for each channel allows up to 1/2A of current to be bypassed, ensuring that each cell/block can reach a full 100% charge level. Individual LEDs for each channel will come on when the channel is in the bypass mode, which indicates that the cell is full. A bi-color master LED comes on red, when the charger is in the constant current mode, and turns towards green as the individual channels start going into the bypass mode. This allows standard SLA-type CC/CV chargers to be used with LiFePO4-based packs, while making sure each cell is fully charged, independent of each other. When all channels are in the full bypass mode, the charge current is cutoff, and the main LED turns solid green.

The board features "breakaway" points every four channels, so this one board can be used for setups requiring 4, 8, 12, 16, 20 or 24 channels

3, 4, 5 or 6-Channel LiPo Low Voltage Cutoff Protection Circuit + Parallel Adapter Kit.
Provides two functions, individual low voltage protection for each of channel (3-6 channels), and provides a convenient way to connect the balance plugs and main pack leads for up to four Turnigy/Zippy LiPo packs in parallel.The PCB can contain three, or four, onboard JST-XH connectors with 4/5/6/7-pins, and one matching output pigtail, plus up to four sets of 4mm bullet plugs. This is a very easy way to build 10, 15 or 20Ah packs, and provide cell-level low voltage protection at the same time..

The LVC function provides an opto-coupled 2-wire output signal that can be connected into the ebike controller's ebrake input, that goes active anytime a block of paralleled cells goes below 3.0V. This will cause the controller to temprarily cut the throttle input, which removes the load. Simple, but very effective and estremely reliable. A two-wire JST-BEC set of male and female pigtails are provided, which can be used to "daisy-chain" the opto outputs from multiple LVC/Parallel Adapter boards, and/or for connecting into the controller's brake input. New to this version is an added feature that allows the LVC cutoof to cutoff the throttle directly. There is a 3-wire input from the throttle, and a 3-wire output to the controller's throttle input, via a current-limiting resistor.

3-into-1 and 4-into-1 Balance Plug Adapters for 3s, 4s, 5s and 6s JST-XH LiPo packs.
Provides connections for paralleling the balancer plugs for three or four 3s, 4s, 5s or 6s Turnigy/Zippy packs (or any other that uses JST-XH - type balancer plugs). One output pigtail is provided. Great for building 15Ah or 20Ah ebike packs. Larger sizes, up to 6p/30Ah configurations can be support by using both 3-1 and 4-1 adapters, and plugging in the output plug from the 3-1 into the side-facing connector on the 4-1 adapter.

3-Speed Hub-Compatible Freewheel Adapter Kit
Allows a standard BMX 1.37" 24 TPI freewheel to be used in conjuntion with a larger, independent motor-driven sprocket on a Nexus, SRAM or Sturmey-Archer 3-speed hub. Having a "second" freewheel in back eliminates the need for installing a special freewheel-equipped crankset, so that the motor doesn't drive the pedals, when it is on. Four holes are provided in the adapter base that match up to a standard 16T 3-splined Nexus cog (not supplied...). The steel cog is then sandwiched between the freewheel adapter and the motor sprocket/adapter, using the supplied stainless steel button-head screws, nuts and lock washers, along with the supplied black-anodized aluminum spacers/standoffs. This assembly fits on the splined hub and is held in place with the standard circlip, provided with the hub. Then, a standard BMX-type freewheel, which are available with 16-22 teeth, is screwed onto the feeewheel adapter. This adapter is compatible with all popular 3-speed hubs, including Nexus, SRAM and Sturmey-Archer.

Kit includes the adapter, four stainless steel 1/4-20 x .75" buttonhead scews, with lock washers and low-profile stainless steel nuts, and the required washers/spacers. In addition, four linger 1/4-20 x 1" screws and four anodized aluminum standoff spacers are also provided, which allows for various chainline options for the motor-driven sprocket.
